September 11th

On September 11, 2001 four planes were hijacked. Two crashed into the World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon, and another was headed towards the Capitol but crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The people who did it were al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden. Personally I think this was a tragedy beyond anything else, and I'm glad they found and killed Bin Laden. After 9/11 security has heightened everywhere and people tended to racial profile a lot of other people. It's good that in the United States heightened security but I thought that security should already been as it is today. Everyone knows there are bad people out there we just didn't realize there capabilities and what they were willing to do til after the attacks. My heart does go out to all the families and there lost ones. I just hope that nothing like this will happen again, and if it does I hope we will know how to handle it.

Mail Merge

Today in class we learned how to mail merge. It was pretty easy once you get the hang of it. There is also a certain format we have to start off with for Word documents. Mail Merge is used to send the same letter to multiple people which could be useful for big businesses.
